href=\"https:\/\/www.empower4digiline.eu\/it\/\"><strong>Empower4DigiLine<\/strong><\/a>, implemented by a partnership of organisations from Austria, Italy, Greece, Finland and Spain, aims to\u00a0<strong>enhance the digital competences of language teachers<\/strong>\u00a0in the\u00a0<strong>adult education sector<\/strong>, with a focus on inclusion, accessibility and the use of new technologies, with a specific focus on artificial intelligence (AI) tools for teaching.<br>This\u00a0<strong>Policy Report<\/strong>\u00a0represents the result of a series of research activities carried out between January and June 2024, aimed at assessing the<strong>\u00a0current state of teachers&#8217; digital competences in partner countries<\/strong>, with a specific focus on areas\u00a04 (Assessment),\u00a05 (Learner Empowerment)\u00a0and\u00a06 (Facilitation of Digital Competence Development)\u00a0of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/joint-research-centre.ec.europa.eu\/digcompedu_en\">DigCompEdu framework<\/a>.<br>The report aims to initiate a broad\u00a0<strong>debate on the importance of such competences<\/strong>\u00a0in the context of<strong>\u00a0language education\u00a0<\/strong>and to provide\u00a0<strong>recommendations\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>guidelines\u00a0<\/strong>to support and further\u00a0<strong>develop educators&#8217; digital competences<\/strong>, contributing to the\u00a0<strong>improvement\u00a0<\/strong>of\u00a0<strong>inclusiveness\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>effectiveness\u00a0<\/strong>in\u00a0<strong>language teaching.<\/strong><br><br>Read the full
