I delivered two packed workshops for administrative staff from language schools, as well as a dedicated session for teachers on neurodiversity in the language classroom. And wow\u2014the interest, the engagement, and the feedback were simply phenomenal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What made this trip particularly meaningful was seeing the powerful impact of the neurodiversity aspect of the Empower 4 Digiline project extending far beyond EU borders. We brought along t<strong>raining materials and masterclass content from the project<\/strong>, and the response from participants was immediate and enthusiastic. It became clear that the ideas and tools we\u2019re developing through Empower aren\u2019t just relevant for European classrooms, they\u2019re globally resonant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Neurodiversity in education <\/strong>is gaining momentum, but in many parts of the world, it\u2019s still a relatively new conversation, especially when it comes to language teaching and learning. Through the Empower 4 Digiline project, we\u2019re aiming to change that. By designing resources and training that help teachers better understand and support neurodivergent learners, we\u2019re not only improving classroom experiences, but also making space for more inclusive, effective, and empowering teaching practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One message that really landed during the Marrakech workshops was this: s<strong>ustainability in language education means including neurodivergent-friendly approaches as the norm<\/strong>, <strong>not the exception<\/strong>. Language teachers have a unique chance to lead this mentality shift, to be global pioneers in inclusive teaching. That\u2019s the kind of big-picture thinking the Empower project champions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So yes, this was more than a conference trip. It was a reminder that the conversations we\u2019re having in our project are needed, urgently and everywhere. The tools we\u2019re building are already creating ripple effects, inspiring educators and administrators in- and outside the EU to reimagine what inclusive language learning can look like.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Coming back from Marrakech, the message is clear: <strong>Empower 4 Digiline is not just a project.
